Time to act – children’s rights can’t wait!

When Sweden Fails Its Children – We Can’t Stay Silent

Sweden has long been seen as a leader in human rights, but the reality for our children tells a different story. Despite the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child being law, the state continues to fail vulnerable children. Violence in SiS homes, lack of protection for refugee children, and a legal system that rarely prioritizes the best interests of the child prove that our most fragile citizens are being abandoned.

We cannot stay silent. We must demand accountability, end the abuse, and build a system that truly protects children – not one that turns them into victims of political decisions. Share this, spread the message, and let’s work together to pressure those in power.

Every day, Sweden fails its children. They are left in violent homes, placed in institutions where abuse happens, and ignored by the authorities meant to protect them. Enough is enough. Children’s rights are law, but laws without action are just words.

🔹 Share this post – Spread awareness and put pressure on decision-makers. 🔹 Contact politicians – Demand investigations into SiS institutions, protection for refugee children, and better resources for social services. 🔹 Stand up for children – Kids cannot fight for themselves. We must do it for them.

If we don’t act now, the abuse will continue. Sweden can no longer turn a blind eye. Children's rights must be a priority.
